Home Base

The House

Dolce Far Niente

“the sweetness of doing nothing”

Hilton Head Island, SC

Tucked into Palmetto Dunes, a lush beachfront community known for its three miles of pristine Atlantic shoreline, oak-lined bike paths, and world-class golf courses. The house is just a short walk to the beach and has a pool for us to enjoy. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone to be comfortable.

This home is generously shared with us by Jared's mom, Janet ♡

Janet named the house Dolce Far Niente because that's exactly the experience she wants every guest to have when they stay. The unhurried days of Lowcountry living: slow mornings, long lunches, relaxing days.

Get Ready for a Day in Savannah

For the day, channel your Coastal Cool Girl : something comfortable and relaxed for a lovely day wandering the city. Savannah in mid-June is hot and humid, so wear pieces that'll keep you cool while outside. We'll be walking, so wear comfortable shoes!

For the evening, we plan to stay out and hit a few bars and clubs. It's time to Shine, Girl : bring a chic and/or sexy outfit to impress and pair it with something shiny or glimmering, like it's New Year's

Leave for Savannah

Surprise Activity

5 PM
A breather between the day and dinner to SURVIVE. We have a reserved room for a quick reset. We can touch up our makeup and swap into our evening looks. While waiting, go nap, or we can grab a drink and shared snacks at Municipal Bar before we head back out for dinner.
6:30 to 6:45 PM
We're splitting into three reservations at Saint Bibiana because Savannah's restaurants charge a small fortune for large groups, and we're not doing that. You'll all have an intimate time getting to know each other. Vibe is upscale, chic, moody. Cheers to us!

Yes girls, we're going out. We'll bring back that 20s energy for a few more hours. I can't promise I'll be able to stop us from getting mildly filthy. I don't know where we'll be but we'll hit that midnight.

What to Wear

Weekend Attire

This might be a "Mild" bach party, but we're dressing our best. We're going to look cool, chic, hotties. Because we are.

Saturday Day Time

You're just a cool girl

On any given day, I love showing off my Grandma Coastal style. But for this day, we're going to rebrand to the Coastal Cool Girl. Bring on your best cool girl style, and match it with any shade of blue.

Saturday Night Time

Shine Girl!

This Capricorn bride-to-be typically prefers DEMURE, but she's also a New Year's baby !! So girls, we're dressing up like it's New Year's, baby! Wear something shiny and sparkly, keep it Mild or go Wild, take out those sequins or satins. You pick your style and color, as long as you're shining

Getting There

Travel

Two airport options, both with easy rides over to the house.

SAV

Savannah / Hilton Head Intl.

≈ 45 min to the house

The bigger option, in Savannah, GA. More flights, more carriers, usually cheaper. Recommended for most. Group rideshare or rental. We'll coordinate pickups in the group chat once arrivals are locked.

HHH

Hilton Head Island

≈ 15 min to the house

Small island airport. Limited service (mostly American Eagle from Charlotte and DFW). Pricier but you land right on the island. Worth it if your routing is easy from your city.
